  • STARTING GUIDE

Welcome to PwMirage. Below is a quick walk thru on starting a new character. We are a little different, as you start in Archosaur, at the docks near the elder. You arrive in game with a mount hatched, gear equipped, a pick axe, MP and HP charms in your inventory. Veno’s will have 2 additional cages open and 200 water in their inventory. You are Level 20, and cultivation through Aware Of Principle is completed. You also have all your “points” available for distribution. So, what do you do now?

    • Talk to Guard Zen (581 643), take quest Arrival
    • Talk to Elder of Archosaur (570 648), finish Arrival, take Arrival pt2
    • Talk to Herbalist Lynn (583 634) (nearest location) Go thru the arch across from Guard Zen, then go to the left. Finish Arrival pt 2, take Arrival pt 3. Side Note: This npc will craft teleport stones, teleport incense and charms from minable mats.
    • Talk to Trader Nelson (583 631) Other side of the rock from Herbalist Lynn. Finish Arrival pt 3, take Arrival Pt. 4 (VENOS PLEASE REFER TO BELOW TO CONTINUE)
    • Open the supply stash if you haven’t already, obtaining a token for weapon. Go to the mailbox, and complete the quest to get your starting weapon. Nearest mailbox is across from Herbalist Lynn on your way back to the docks.
    • Talk to Lieutenant Li (522 630) (right before General Summer) finish Arrival pt 4, receive 25k coins, and 25k exp
    • Go down the ramp and to the courtyard on the right, talk to the trainer for your class, and learn basic skills.

You are now ready to talk to General Summer and continue on your culti, and start questing. For a Guide on quests that are available, check out purplemelon.wikidot.com, quests are listed by level.

    VENOMANCERS ONLY

After talking to Nelson and before going to talk to Lieutenant Li, Talk to the Mirage Pet Crafter (583 626)

Go to goods/Books tab and buy all 3 books (Revive, Tame and Heal pet books), cost is actually 1 coin each. Then go to Misc. Tab under goods and purchase 1 thimble (used to craft your starter pet)

Talk to Pet Crafter again, choose manufacture/ battle tab craft your starter pet (choose either Grottoden Wolfmaster or Lithic Scorpion (which is lvl 22)

After obtaining books and pet from Mirage Pet Crafter, talk to Pet Skills Trainer (right beside Pet Crafter). Hatch your starter pet (Hatch BEFORE learning skills, or you may not have enough coins to hatch your pet) Learn all 3 pet skills (cost is zero to learn level 1 of each)

Now is the time to check out the Mirage Pet Crafter for what is needed to craft your arcane pet tome and additional food for your pets. The Pet Crafter is also where you will receive your herc and nix, refer to the “How to obtain herc and nix” guide for complete instructions.

  • How to obtain a Herc and Nix

So, you have your veno ready to go, and the question on your mind is how do I get the Herc and Nix? We have no boutique, and Herc and Nix are not available through donation at this time. Both pets are farmable – yes, I said farmable in game.

Most of the magic for veno’s happens at the Mirage Pet Crafter. This NPC is where you will get your Pet Heal, Revive and Tame books, your starter pet and where you will ultimately craft your herc and nix. To get the herc or nix, you will need 5,000 Source of Force or Phoenix Feathers (if you want to you can still go to Mrs. Zoologist, but she will cost 9,999).

So, how do you “farm” the SoF and feathers? Easy, do what comes to a veno naturally and tame monsters. Once you have the egg, you can exchange them at the Mirage Pet Crafter for battle packs.

Land, Air, Water and Rare pets each have their own exchange tab.

Listed below are the mobs for each tab.

After opening your battle packs, you can exchange SoF for Feathers and vice versa under the Misc Exchange tab. They are exchangeable in quantities of 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 500. When you have 5,000 of either, go to the Battle tab. Choose the appropriate pet, and craft.

You are crafting the egg, not the ticket. When crafted, you can hatch at the Pet Manager or Pet Skills Trainer right beside the Pet Crafter.

You can craft Perfect Cookies under the food tab at the Pet Crafter for the lowest level herbs.

    Enjoy !!!
